Kids’ Place Prayer Request: Transitions

The Kids’ Place leadership would like to ask for your prayers. We are coming into a period of transitions with children promoting to higher level classes.

The two-year-old children will be promoted from Babies to Preschool in January, but the kindergarteners will not be promoted until later in the spring. This will allow time for leadership to setup a specific kindergartener class.

Plans are also underway for a class specifically for 5th and 6th graders.

Please pray for wisdom, enough teachers to fully staff the classes, grace and love for the workers, and that each class will be age- and developmentally-appropriate so that we can reach each child for the Lord.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask one of the Kids’ Place coordinators (Pam, Sarah, Shari, or Iris).

Sunday Bible Study Will Begin Old Testament Convenants

Develop your biblical worldview on what God is doing in the Middle East.

Starting January 15th, we will begin a study on the Old Testament Covenants and a study on God’s covenant with the nation of Israel and how God has and is dealing with His chosen people and the nation itself.

A copy of subjects to be covered is available at the table by the entrance during Sunday service.

Kids’ Place News

Kids’ Place (childcare for the Sunday service) is in need of workers!

We need people who can work once a month in the babies or preschool class. If you do not feel like you can commit to once a month, please consider volunteering 4-5 times a year.

This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy and interact with the children, as you make an eternal impact in their little lives.

If you are interested, please contact Iris G., Sarah N., or Shari B.

Fill the Jar to Fill the Church

Our building fundraiser for the children of our church is ongoing.

The children are going to be challenged to fill the fundraising jar by November 20th. They will need your help.

Parents: Perhaps they can forage your cars, couches, and dressers for spare change, or perhaps you could give them odd jobs like dusting or cleaning something for some money towards the church.

Perhaps friends, cousins, or grandparents would be willing to help.

Others in our church can bring spare change in to bless a specific child or children in our church.

Thanks for your help!
