Community Harvest Women’s Breakfast Sat., Aug. 14

Bookmark this category
Ladies, now that VBS 2010 is behind us, I would like to start our women’s events for the rest of the year. The first event is coming up soon, so I thought I’d let you all know today to prepare for a Women’s Breakfast on Saturday, August 14, at 10 a.m. at the Community Center. Bring a dish or drink to share–and come hungry for food and Christian fellowship. (And you can bring your kids if you need to.)

Thank you all! Send any questions to me.

Bring any clothes your household would like to pass on to someone else. We will sort through what we bring, take home “new” clothes that our families can use, and donate the remaining clothes to community organizations including the Fresh Start Home for homeless women and Head Start for preschool-aged children.

Lincoln kids visiting “Parable Prairie” July 14-18

On July 14-18, Community Harvest Church will welcome area children from kindergarten through sixth grade to “Parable Prairie,” the ministry’s summer vacation Bible school program, held in Bethany Park 6:30 to 8:30 each evening.

Parable Prairie is a Western-themed vacation Bible school with four evenings of children’s gospel lessons, crafts, physical activities and scripture utilizing the drama of parables. On Friday, the fifth evening, children will participate in a program for their parents.

One unique feature of this special five-night program is that parents are invited to attend the first four nights with their children if they wish. Community Harvest Church recognizes that some parents may feel more comfortable staying near their children through the event–and hopes parents will enjoy the drama, music and fun that are a part of each night.
