As part of our efforts to raise funds for our own building, we are collecting metal to take in for cash.

If you or anyone you know would like to donate, either bring the items to our collection trailer on Sunday or contact Shari for pickup of larger items.

• Copper pipe, old cords, wiring with insulation
• ANYTHING METAL!

October is Pastor Appreciation Month. To honor both Pastor Mark and Chris Nichols we are having a cake and card reception next Sunday, October 23rd, at 4:00pm at the community center.

We are looking for volunteers to work at the concessions and souvenir stands at the air show on Saturday 9/10 from 8am – 6pm. This is a great opportunity not only to help raise funds for our building, but to serve in honor of the memory of those who lost their lives on 9/11/2001. We will need to get a count on how many would be able to do this and the times you are available.

If you are available and willing to work either part or all of the time, please e-mail Kara H. with the following information: full name, birthday, and emergency contacts with name and number. If you hold a food handlers permits, please let Kara know that as well. She needs to have this information by tomorrow noon to the event coordinator.
