Shipwreck Isle Vacation Bible School Set sail for an exciting pirate adventure in God’s grace told through live drama and music!

Each evening will include snacks, fun, physical activity and crafts.

What: A Vacation Bible School by Community Harvest Church

When: Monday July 20 through Friday July 24

Where: Meadow Lane Elementary School, 7200 Vine Street

Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Ages: Kindergarten through 6th grade

We are asking you give monetarily to support VBS above and beyond your normal giving. Please designate VBS on your envelope or check.

We also need volunteers for VBS.

The weekly deadline for the website is 7pm Thursday and for the bulletin, 5pm on Friday.

The plan will roll out soon, so get your loved one on the list.

All of us know people who need Jesus. How do we begin to reach them? Pray for them!

What would happen if you would pray for at least 5 people you know on a regular basis? What would happen if our entire church prayed for them? What if we regularly prayed for 100 people?

God would begin drawing people to Jesus, and we would see our loved ones changed by Jesus for all eternity.

How can you help?

1. List at least 5 people you know and pray for them.

2. Ask the church to pray for the people you know.

3. Ask someone to share Jesus with the people you know.

4. Personally share the gospel with people you know and invite them to a Bible study and/or to church.

Community Harvest Church is a new church that is looking for missions minded Christians who have been called by God to be missionaries to Lincoln. We have a great group of committed missions-minded Christians that are sowing, watering and reaping; however, the harvest is plentiful and we need more workers. If God is calling you to labor with us in our mission field, we would love to have you roll up your sleeves and work with us as part of our local church. Don’t forget that our Christmas program, Twelve Nights, is Sunday December 21, at 6 pm at the Community Center. Invite your friends, neighbors and relatives! I will have some flyers at church on Sunday, but you could start with verbal invites. I will share the gospel, so this would be a great program to invite people who don’t know Jesus.
